Dr. John C. L'Insalata graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College in 1986, receiving the General Excellence Award. He received his medical degree in 1990 from Cornell University Medical College, where he received several academic honors, including the General Excellence Award and the Internal Medicine and Rheumatology Awards. He completed his internship in General Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Continuing his training, Dr. L'Insalata completed an Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.

Dr. L'Insalata is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and has separate subspecialty certification in Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He completed fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA where he served as team physician for the University of Pittsburgh athletic teams and the Robert Morris College football team and worked professionally with the Pittsburgh Ballet. Dr. L'Insalata is the author of numerous orthopaedic articles and book chapters and has presented nationally and internationally on the treatment of athletic injuries, arthroscopic surgery, and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and knee. He is a Clinical Instructor in Orthopaedic Surgery at Weil Medical College of Cornell University and Clinical Assistant Professor in Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center.

Christopher DunleavyChristopher Dunleavy, RPA-C

Christopher is a native of Staten Island and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from St. John's University in 2005 as well as a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Stony Brook University in 2020. He graduated from St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center's Physician Assistant program at Bayley Seaton Hospital in 2005. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Christopher has worked as a surgical Physician Assistant at Richmond University Medical Center and Staten Island University Hospital. He has worked specifically in orthopaedic surgery since 2006 and joined Orthopaedic Surgical Consultant, P.C., in 2011.
