Doctor Specialties
Dr. Verde specializes in surgery of the knee, arthroscopic surgery and
joint reconstruction. Arthroscopic knee surgery is done on an ambulatory
basis, usually using local anesthesia, a few tiny incisions and no stitches.
Dr. Verde has performed thousands of arthroscopic knee surgeries and is active in
professional organizations promoting the advancement and safety of orthopaedic and
arthroscopic techniques.
Dr. L'Insalata specializes in sports medicine/arthroscopy, treatment of
shoulder and knee disorders, and joint reconstruction. Dr. L'Insalata
applies the principles of sports medicine developed via the treatment of
collegiate and professional athletes to the treatment of each of his
patients. This emphasizes the use of non-operative modalities including
proper rehabilitation and injury prevention, as well as minimally invasive
and arthroscopic surgery to allow patients to return to full, pain-free
activity as quickly and safely as possible.
Dr. DeFranco
is a specialist in sports medicine, shoulder, and knee surgery. He provides non-operative and operative care for sports-related injuries as well as shoulder and knee disorders. As a shoulder specialist, he performs arthroscopic and open procedures for all shoulder disorders including rotator cuff disease, instability, arthritis, and AC joint and scapulothoracic disorders. With regards to the knee, he provides surgical care for patients with instability (ligament injuries), meniscal tears, torn tendons, and articular cartilage injury. He also performs arthroscopic surgery of the elbow, hip, and ankle.
Modern Facilities
Both our offices are equipped with handicapped accessible facilities,
a video education room, as well as modern x-ray equipment. This allows
us to treat most fractures right in our offices.
